In the neighborhood of La Paternal, an event was held that highlighted art and community collaboration: La Gran Paternal. This event is presented as a space for meeting and celebrating the neighborhood's identity through art.

La Gran Paternal is a self-managed and independent network of visual artists who develop their work in this neighborhood. The network focuses on strengthening collaborative and community ties, a political-affective identity that makes its members and the inhabitants of La Paternal proud.

This event has been declared of Cultural Interest by the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, a well-deserved recognition for an initiative that not only beautifies the neighborhood, but also strengthens the social fabric through art.

Last night, during my visit, I had the opportunity to explore several workshops, each offering a unique perspective of the creative process and the passion of its artists. In this new section, I share a series of photographs taken at @PazSoldán. This workshop brings together a diverse group of talents, including Maga González, Caro Linera, Ana Villanueva, Jorgelina Buchara, Florencia Favelukes, Mariana Fuentes Zamorano, Nacho Novillo, Maria Luiza Amorim, Marisol Tropea, Bárbara de Lellis, Nayana Guanipa, Azul Montenegro, Mariel Britez, Anita Miró, Antonella Carlino, Vicky Gutman, Elizabeth Guerra, Cecilia Gandulfo, Delfina Barea, Cynthya Villa Soto, Agustino Mercado, Maria Victoria Sananes, Mariquena Vallejo, Julia Foti, Dante Zaballa, Tomás Ricol, Dalia Fubini, Antonia Lara, Felipe D’ Annunzio, and Veerle Ebben, with guest artists Pia Sanabria and Maria Langevin.

@PazSoldán stands out for its spatial dynamics and the variety of expressive means present. The workshop, with its large gate that provides access to an outdoor entrance and parallel spaces for different artists, creates an atmosphere that is both welcoming and stimulating. In the background, a spacious two-story, bright space that evokes a gallery, houses a rich diversity of works: sculptures, ceramics, objects, textiles, and installative and audiovisual proposals. The artists explore multiple materialities and techniques, highlighting the investigative depth that underlies many of the works presented. The coexistence in this space reveals a balanced and collaborative ecosystem, where creative exchanges are constant and enriching.
