The exhibition LATERAL at PATIOarts presents a subtle yet powerful break. By bringing together eight artists from different backgrounds and disciplines, it creates a visual landscape where diversity becomes a coherent narrative. Here, the works, seemingly autonomous, connect with each other to build a dialogue that transcends the individual.

This curatorial proposal by Abril Bellati challenges not only the idea of a gallery as a fixed space, but also the expectation that the work must meet certain "standards" to be recognized in the art circuit. Bellati invites us to look beyond the finished or "perfect" and discover in each piece that “lateral project” — that more experimental side, sometimes incomplete and always authentic, of each artist.
